General

• The generator is effective, it's consumption of energy is minimal.
• The highly effective UV-C lamp is easily replaced. Its life is controlled and alarms, available on the control screen, inform the user. The lamp has a life of 9000 hours.
• The generator operates all the time, without interruption. Depending on the options selected, the system is equipped with one or two dosing pumps.
• The UVTECH™ system generates UV-C rays for a complete and instantaneous disinfection. Our comparative table shows the advantages and the superiority of our UV technology.
• The UVTECH™ system is compatible with all the equipments and disinfectants used in pools. 

Installation

• The UV generator must be installed after filtration, preferably before the water-heating device.
• It will be connected to the electric grid through a wall socket, equipped with a default ground circuit breaker (GFCI).
• It will be connected through two joint unions to facilitate maintenance.
• When the pool is being filled, a bypass network is recommended, with insulation gates, in order to facilitate the operation.
• The UV generator (R 242 series) may control on demand: the filtration pump, pool lighting, and to go into safety in case there is no pressure in the conduit.
• The injection of Oxysteril™ is made on the return line of the water, close to the pool.
• The injection of UVShield™ is made on the return line of the water, upstream of the injection of Oxysteril™. 

Use

Check regularly the level of the UVShield and Oxysteril™ drums, and the pH less.

The shock treatment must be executed with our product based on active oxygen: Oxysteril™, it must be carried out periodically. Refer to the manual in order to verify the amount to be used.

At the start of the installation, the pool must be clean, proceed to an initial shock treatment with Oxysteril™ (consult the label on the drum).

Effective and periodical maintenance must be guaranteed. We suggest using an electric robot. Refer to our section on Equipments and Accessories.
