MONTREAL
The largest fountain in Canada
UVTECH contributed to this major project in the city of Montreal. Piscines Soucy mandated us to handle the water treatment of this fountain, the largest in Canada. 250 flow nozzles, running right below the ground, as well as projections lights will ensure a spectacular show.
The entire management of the fountain will be handled by an automated 3D simulator which will help coordinate and plan the light and water shows.
This project features a number of new technologies specifically developed to ensure sustainable development. "Clean and green" water sanitization techniques were also used to preserve the health of on site visitors, which do not involve the use of hazardous chemical products such as chlorine.
Project features:
- Water filtration for a water flow of 550 US gpm (125 m3/h)
and a volume of 100 m3
- Production of disinfection agents with a Oxineo 150 device
- UV Generator with poly chromatic, medium pressure lamp
- In line control of water mineralization, pH and disinfection agents
